CC: What are some do’s and don’ts of Photography?
JK:  I’d say, shoot a lot but don’t show everyone what you shot. Don’t put everything on the internet for everyone to see. What I’ve learned is the difference between a great photographer and a good photographer is how much they put on to show everyone. A good photographer can have a lot of bad prints and pictures in their series, but a great one will always pick the best ones. Do shoot, but edit down very precisely to what you want to show the world. Always keep track of your progress, and I do that by having a Tumblr. I can always look back and see single servings of what I’ve taken. Also, have a portfolio that you just keep adding to and editing down constantly; just know yourself and how you change within photography.

Honestly, I wouldn’t shoot as much if it weren’t for the great feedback I’ve gotten on Tumblr. I love having a way to show my work, because that is what keeps me going and growing. Thank you!
